The next time I visited Charles Town, I was setting in the food court drinking coffee in one of the booths. My first experience in Charles Town was at the promotion counter, a older white woman was registering me for a players card when she finished she did not say thank you and good luck ' she said now go and leave all your money here' I over looked that comment. Driving 2 hour to Dover or 3 1/2 hours to Altantic City was getting old. I really enjoyed coming to Charles Town (1). I have been visiting Charles Town Races & Slots for about 2 years. I think management needs a class in Public Relations.įirst I would like to introduce myself, I am a 50 yr old African American woman. And, no, most employees are not friendly or helpful. A pretty entrance and another park garage doesn't make up for a poor payout of the slots. Bring a sweater or jacket because the temperature varies widely from room to room.
